Max Verstappen fought off Charles Leclerc at the opening corner to lead from start to finish and claim his first Singapore Grand Prix victory. The win marks Red Bull's second dominant result in a week, following a season-opening triumph in Malaysia and a sprint race success in Singapore.

Lewis Hamilton finished sixth after a race-ending strategy error. Starting on medium tyres, Hamilton pitted on lap 18 to switch to softer rubber, but refused a team radio instruction to stop again when his tyres degraded. The decision left him vulnerable as his grip faded over the remaining 44 laps. Ferrari faced scrutiny for not ordering Leclerc to yield to Hamilton after a mid-race pit cycle, compounding the Mercedes driver's struggles.
A virtual safety car on lap 39 triggered a wave of stops that reshuffled the top field. Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli both pitted, saving 10 seconds compared to racing stops, while Hamilton stayed out and temporarily moved into second. Leclerc passed Hamilton on lap 46 after the Briton declined further instructions to pit. As his tyres lost grip, Hamilton lost ground to Lando Norris, who ran wide at Turn One on lap 54. Antonelli capitalized on the mistake to pass the McLaren, and Oscar Piastri overtook Hamilton on the final lap. Leclerc chased Verstappen but could only close to 7.3 seconds.
Antonelli secured third place, extending his championship lead to 102 points. He now sits 150 points clear of his nearest rival with six races remaining. The Italian can clinch his first world title at the United States Grand Prix on 25 October if he wins in Austin, George Russell finishes ninth or lower, and Hamilton places fifth or below.

George Russell mounted a strong recovery from 19th on the grid, climbing to seventh before falling back to 10th. Red Bull's Isack Hadjar claimed the final point from the back of the grid. Reflecting on the weekend, Verstappen said, "I think the last few races have been really positive for us and it is just great to see and we have a lot of motivation in the team to try to deliver even more results." When told he could mathematically win the championship in Austin, Antonelli replied, "Can I? Really? Let's not worry about that, let's try to do the best weekend possible and finish the job."
