Stars gathered in Los Angeles for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. They walked a blue carpet instead of the traditional red one. The annual ceremony drew a heavy lineup of musicians and television presenters.

Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Lisa attended the arrivals. They joined Troye Sivan, Tyla, Orville Peck, Chloe Bailey, and JoJo on the floor. Photographers lined the perimeter to capture the early arrivals.

Several guests will host segments of the broadcast. Charli XCX, Teyana Taylor, Tyla, Belmont Cameli, and Ella Bright serve as presenters during the live show.

Artists chose bold and elaborate designs for the evening. The outfits matched the ceremony's focus on music video culture. The blue carpet provided a distinct backdrop for the arrivals.
